Austin joined the Alumni Board because, "I understand the importance of a successful student organization for the School of Accountancy. There were a number of vital people at ASU that helped me succeed and without them I wouldn't be where I'm at today. Therefore, I want to be part of the ASU BAP and do my part to ensure their success and the success of the members."
Geoff obtained a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Taxation from Arizona State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Arizona Society of CPAs. Geoff also holds a Series 65 securities license.
While at ASU, Geoff was the Vice-President of the Accounting Honor Society and President of the Accounting Students’ Association. He went on to work in the wealth management and family office space, serving high net worth individuals and families with their financial affairs. As a senior associate at GenSpring Family Offices, LLC, he was involved in tax strategies and portfolio management for high net worth families, their partnerships and foundations. He is currently a Wealth Advisor at TFO Phoenix, Inc. where he is involved in investment advisory services and is a leader in the tax practice. Geoff also serves on the Board of Directors for the Beer for Brains Foundation.
Kasey Woodard received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from BYU in 2005 and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from ASU in 2008. She went to work for Moss Adams and is currently a Senior in the tax department. Kasey has experience serving public and privately-held companies in a variety of industries including dealer services, manufacturing, restaurants, hospitality, and financial institutions.
In 2008, Kasey was recognized for outstanding performance on the CPA Exam, placing in the top ten examinees in Arizona. Kasey has volunteered for ASCPA events, presenting to ASU students on becoming a CPA and working in the accounting industry. She has also been invited to ASU by professors to talk with students about life in public accounting, the CPA exam, and becoming a CPA. Kasey enjoys working with ASU students and is happy to serve on the BAP Alumni Board to help further their goals.
